DS loves being carried but he is way to big/heavy for him to balance for more than a nano-second on my hip

What sling/contraption can i get ir should i just get a long length of material?

He is 2.2

TIA

Noooooooo - your poor back will not hold out! I have had 3 slipped discs and they are really really painful.

depends GM a sling stops you adopting such a poor posture, i have spinal probs after tearing muscles and carry baby in sling is much less painful than holding her in my arms and she is only 15lb of non wriggling baby, have carried a 5yo in a sling, bliss on the old arms/shoulders - i only use ring sling.

ergo is comfy as sits on your hips but dc is a bit low imo. google beco baby carrier and angelpack baby carrier or a mei tei. they all carry baby higher.

I prefer back packs at this age, like the Vaude range. I had a Jolie.

yes, should def carry on back at this age
