Looking for a pushchair? Find out which stroller is our Mumsnet Best of 2017!
What can we use instead
Message withdrawn at poster's request.
We had a thing that clipped on to the table and also a kind of sling that went on a chair. That's really helpful isn't it Will try to find pictures
here A friend of mine has one of these for travelling and says it great.
Here - both on one page - the Phil & Ted's thing & the Go group chair harness.
The thing that attaches to the chair looks fab.Do you think there is much difference between the one you linked to laura and the one you linked to rusty - as one is £10 cheaper than the other oneNot sure about getting the thing that clips to the table though - it looks great but we're only away for a week and its £33!
Are you going somewhere where you can hire one? A lot of places have them for hire.
I have a totseat, its wonderful!DD is now 14 months and has been fine in it, just come back from hols and used it lots there.I have a` friend who tried one with her DS when he was about 8 months ( i think) and i think it wasnt that great - a bit young. DC really needs to be sittign up well on their own.Try ebay? Though when i was looking they werent going from much less than the retail price
I regularly tie my child(ren) to the chair with a pashmina - around the chest and under the arms and tie in a big bow at the back. It works really well (my little boy looks brilliant with my fuschia pashmina!).
There's a cloth one you can put in your handbag, Mo2 sent me hers years ago, can't remember what it's called.
Just looked at the links, yes, like the totseat one.
Do you think there is much difference between the totseat and the Gro Group Chair Harness?

The Totseat is ace- we've had it nearly 2 years, and still looks great. Its extendable/retractable so can go over tall or small chairs.
where are you going? will there not be highchairs available there?
