I will pop up the hill and get one once DS1 is home to babysit smile It will be my first.

Do they hold a lot? And does that mean I'll have to buy foods I'm not ashamed of people seeing? lol

I think I need something like this - I have my MN shopping list bag, but it's a bit too big to carry round all the time in my handbag. Will investigate. Thanksgrin.

Long handles even better, so I can sling over my shoulder.

I do love mine, but don't you find it gets a bit tangled up and it takes about 10 mins to get it the right way round again? And things fall out.

nah - am sticking with my hessian tesco ladybird ones.
Sturdy, prop each other up and keep in car as only do proper shop once a week.

I want a handbag shopping bag though.

Where can I get a nice, non-stringy one?

Or perhaps I could knit one!

I bought large canvas "beach" bags from completely non-ethical Primark to use for shopping.

I made a cloth bag from some left over leopard print fabric I had. Scrunches up small, looks fab

But one of those stringy things is going to look very un-goldsmith when it is full of Tesco value OJ isn't it?
