elasticated belts

Does anybody know where I can get some decent elasticated belts for slim 4 year old dd and 7 year old ds?

I've tried snake belts and the adjuster to make the belt smaller just keeps slipping. I can find plenty of children's belts but they're not elasticated.

Thanks.

I had the same query a while back...got elasticated belts from H and M/Hennes for 2.99...now my girls can wear all their clothes that have never fitted them before....its great! Im sure they will do them for your ds as well. Failing that try woolies for his. Good Luck

agree with H and M - they go really small and not fiddly for them to do up/ undo either !

Anyone fancy going to H&M for me and sending one in the post?!?!? The one near me doesn't do kids and I'm DESPERATE for belts for a skinny almost 4 yr old ds!!

Or can you get them online anywhere?

If I get a chance I can have a look in my lunchtime tomorrow......

That would be fabulous! I've got about 5 pairs of trousers for ds that are perfect length but just fall off his waist!

Any colour preference? Just one belt, or more?

Gobbledigook Sun 16-Jan-05 14:56:36

One is fine - the best colour would probably be blue to go with jeans but it doesn't matter as most of his tops sit over the top of his pants anyway.

You're a star!! Don't go out of your way though - just if you pop in anyway!

I'll get back to you tomorrow!

OK, thanks so much!

Hi Gobbledigook - you were lucky - it stopped raining

They had two sizes of belt - 1-3 yrs & 4-6 yrs. I stood there & stared at them & pondered which to get - there's quite a difference between them and I remembered you saying that your ds wasn't quite 4 yet - so in the end I bought them both! I thought that if I send you the receipt too you could take one back to your local H&M (they should accept it even though they don't stock kids). Or if the smaller one is OK then you may want to keep the big one for the future...

I hope that this is OK?????? (They're only £1.99 each so it didn't seem too steep). If you'd rather just risk one then I can return one of you'd rather.

Anyway - CAT me with your details & we can sort it out!

we have a snaky belt from letterbox, for dd1 it doesn't seem to slip at all because the fabric is cottony rather than nylony iykwim
