M&S, Vertbaudet, laredoute, ebay, pumpkin patch, next, jojomaman, mothercare, debenhams - ARGH! I don't like kidorable or anything barbie related. PLEASE someone tell me where they got a nice raincoat (I want a thick plastic type one rather than a very lightweight one). I know I am being a fussy madam but I don't care wink Please help me!

H and M often do nice raincoats for girls, not sure how thick they are though. Do you want something more like an oilskin?

Our local garden centres do them with matching wellies and brollies.

Ah, now I haven't tried TK Maxx. Now can I face it with a 2yr old in tow?!

Asda had some great ones the other week.

I got a good raincoat for my dd in h&m after trawling the shops for one... it is red, looks spotty from a distance but actually has hello kitty heads on it, I think it is very cute, they do it in pink as well, £14 approx...

I never did find one for my DD so gave up.. She used to have a lovely spotted thick one I got from ebay but when she grew out of it I couldn't find anything to replace it - and everyone tried to help me on here - maybe just too fussy...

She now has a thin waterproof one and a ski jacket.

Boden have a thick jacket/raincoat. Got dd one and she loves it. It is warmer than the thin raincoats I normally get her. It comes in different colours, I got the spotted one. k&gpid=15&gen=1&col=BRN

I got a perfectly sensible yellow mac for dd1 last year, which they now no longer seem to do. A few choices there for you anyway.

TK Maxx had loads when I went to the Bristol one today. They had a really cool green one with blue roses on and they had a pretty lilac one with flowers on, and loads of others. Also was in Asda and they had a white/translusent one that had a red fabric insert and had ladybirds on it that was cute.

Millets are fab!! their smallest size is called 3-4 but on the whole (unless DD is small for age) they don't seem very generous sizes. My small-to-average 4 and 6 y.o DS have their stuff, doesn't cost a fortune & washes well.
