OK so I'm a saddo, but what were those re-cycling bins the dreadful Anthea had in her house?

There seemed to be about 3 or 4 different types of bin she had for re-cycling. Where does one get proper re-cyling bins for kitchens?

Think there are some in the new lakeland catalogue.

Thanks. Found one

here

But it's blue. The only nice ones on the market seem to be those Brabantia ones, and they're enormous and very expensive.

mmm, I saw that one, iota

(Didn't link it to spare poor C since she thought the Brabantia one was bad enough!)

I'm really pleased this company is doing so well, I bought my bins from them last May when they had just started up and they were delivered personally by the boss! (It was sort of on his way somewhere ) He had just sold his house to finance the business so was a bit nervous about it all.

me jan? what did I do?

I wasn't even here

JanH Fri 17-Feb-06 10:18:11

Oh! How did I do that? Why on earth did I think it was iota, not tarantula? Apols all round

<<wanders off in total confusion>>

I'm tempted by all of these, but my mission to find the perfect kitchen bin, like the perfect mop, is always thwarted.

They all look so big and ugly. And then the ones that aren't big, are too inconvenient because you have to empty them too often. But then if you don't empty them, they smell.

Sigh. I never thought I'd turn into the sort of woman who cared about kitchen bins enough to post on the world wide web about it. How life does surprise us.

I found an innovative recycling bin called the Green Pod. Great for if you need to carry your recyclables to a recycling centre or bank. www.elementgreenrecycling.co.uk
