this will sound daft but my son has just been offered a place at a very good school really near our house after being on the admission waiting list for 6 years.
Normally a no brainer but the issue is that he is really likes the school he is at and so do I. Although it is not as good on paper he is happy, has friends and is doing well academically. He is also due to finish there at the end of next year and should be going to the same school that has offered him a place today.
So question is do I take the place now and get him into this school a year early, or do I turn it down and allow him to finish primary with his friends and go next year. I think I have talked myself into a decision actually....! All help appreciated.
Thanks
