DS still hasn't received offer of school place.......

DS is due to start school in September. We made a late application. I know the first round of offers and appeals has passed, so when will we hear something/anything???

I don't have a home phone I did try going to their office as it's not far from me but I kept being told there was no one available to talk to me
have been emailing an admissions officer but she seems clueless - just telling me to keep waiting, apparently I'll hear something "soon"

I applied on time and still didn't get anything. We are still waiting. My LA have told me where I am on the waiting list though- 18th on 1st choice, 25th on 2nd, 12th on 3rd and 15th on 4th. I occasionally go up or down slightly. They cannot even tell me where there are spaces available. I call them every other day and have done since March. The last person I spoke to at the council actually said it was my responsiblity to make sure she started school in September.
I am so fed up with them.

FINALLY!!! received letter this morning. DS got into 1st choice Primary School. Am rather amazed tbh. I was told I should "be realistic, you're not going to get your first choice now" by the admissions officers I spoke to
so pleased! at last something's going right!

No nothing yet! They said that I may not here until August. I am 18th on the list for my 1st choice. So no holding much hope.

Just a quick update today I have been offered two. I was number 18th on one list and number 23 on the other they now have put in extra classes in both schools. It never rains but it pours!
