Just looked on the BBC website and it says they have not been updated since 6th December 2007.

Weren't the SATs people terribly slow in getting results back to the schools (and pupils) this year? Might that explain the delay in publishing the results?

Ah possibly.

They have been delayed - I think till March, but there have been so many problems I really wouldn't put any faith in them this year

I wish they'd just scrap the things!!

Schools have results now and will probably start to make them public anytime - not sure how long before the tables come out tho.

They are delayed until march next year- 3 months after normal publishing date.
Some schools still do not have appeals back...

They don't tell you much-except which school had a good year 6 that year-next years year 6 might be completely different!

I know but there's not really much else to go on is there when choosing a school. School know when ofsted is going in so the reports don't exactly show what it is necessarily like day in day out. It would make so much more sense if the inspections were shock ones.

It makes you laugh when a small school comes top in our area and you know that it is a small class of very bright DCs-everyone starts taking an interest and you know that next years yr6 haven't got a hope of being in the top half-never mind the top!

Anniemac -- could well be a fantastic school. Ours had '67% SEN' last year (in other words, 10 out of the 15 in Yr 6) and still managed 'average' results. More to the point, they knew each child inside out and went the extra mile for each of them.
