Trainers left in PE kit

My sons are starting a new school on Wednesday, from reading the uniform information it looks like PE kit is to include trainers and be left at school. They only have 1 pair of trainers each, so at their old school I just used to take the PE kit in on the days needed. What does everyone else do? Should I buy some more trainers that might be worn once a week, and grown out of by Christmas?

We have this too, they just started having outdoor PE so need a seperate outdoor kit. We have to leave the trainers in school. Just og a pair of cheap ones that fitted from Sport Soccer, but other places have them cheap enough that will do!
All PE kit is left in school and brought home every half term unless very dirty!
As he gets older though I thnk there will be a need to wash it every week though.

Tescos do some for £4 which are fine to be worn for an hour a week.

My dd has a pair for home and a pair for school.

She is on the sprint team at school so has Reeboks but for at home we just have some cheap ones.

Sportsworld is good.

We always had a pair to stay in the PE kit and a pair for home - but as others have said, they don't need to be expensive ones for that amount of wear.

DD's PE kit is thus

Sweatshirt
T-shirt with school logo
Black shorts
Black jogging bottoms
A pair of socks
Plimsolls for indoor PE
Trainers for outdoor PE

All have to be left st school. When she started I thought that it was 2 sets of kit, one for winter and one for summer but was hastily told off by the teacher who told me that all items are to be in the PE bag at all times. Harrumph. Poor DD's PE bag is bursting.
