hello, a very new user here and considering to move to Manchester south. I have 2 boys aged 7 and 5, just wondering if Didsbury, Chorlton, Stockport or any other places that would be easier for in year admission?

personally I just hope that my boys can go to school together and enjoy their school life, it doesnt need to be outstanding, but I prefer a caring and large campus.

Any suggestions? thanks

Hello and welcome.

You might get more replies if you start a new thread with the area names in as then people who know about those places will be more likely to see it.

I've done an in year admission but not in those areas. I had to contact each school to see if there was a place and then apply for it. I think some LEAs keep lists so they can tell you where places are available.

There could have been quite a lot of movement since March and schools might not know if they have the same pupils as before as it's such an unusual situation.

If there is a place available at a school they must offer it to you.
