Moving to Clevedon, Somerset

Hi all, I'm looking into moving to Clevedon in Somerset. I have visited the place and loved it but obviously it is a bit of a strange time to move at the moment. I'd love any advice anyone can offer on Primary Schools there. I have a 3 year old and a 7 year old. We went and looked at the outside of the schools but couldn't really get a proper feel for them. Which ones are good? How oversubscribed are they? We would prefer not to send them to a religious school but are open to it if these are the best ones and they don't teach too much religion. We also have thought about Long Ashton, Blackwell and Nailsea because of the schools but didn't like the villages as much as Clevedon. Would love any first hand advice on any of these places and schools as well as the community in Clevedon. Thanks

Hello, I'm still looking for advice on this if anyone can help. Now thinking of moving to Long Ashton and have been looking at Birdwell school for my kids. Can anyone provide any advice on living in Lomng Ashton. What's it like? Is there a nice community there? It seems like it. Any thoughts on Birdwell?

Also, will need to think about secondary schools if we want to buy a house in the area. Have thought about Backwell and Clevedon. Any advice on either of these or other secondary schools in North Somerset? Thanks!

OP - I don't live in Long Ashton but a friend of mine recently moved to the area and their eldest attends Backwell school and they have been happy with the school.
