State Primaries leading on wellbeing

Hi all, we're going to leave london for a different pace of life next year and we could move just about anywhere within 2 hours commute of London. Could anyone be kind enough to share if they've found an absolutely incredible, enlightened state primary that prioritises wellbeing, developing emotional intelligence, promoting long term mental health, healthy eating, prioritising outdoor activity (any of the above really)? Thank you so much

I once worked in a peripatetic role across numerous schools in the West Berkshire area and the nicest I went in by a mile was Streatley. That was a while ago though.

All that, plus undersubscribed enough to have a place in whichever year group(s) you are looking for, at the time that you move into the area?
Or are you looking well ahead, for DC that are not yet anywhere near the Reception application stage?

MarchingFrogs, unless the school also has great results (which I would expect as a logical consequence of all the wellbeing etc, but is not a given) then I don't think OP has to worry about being oversubscribed.
Though a large number of people claim that they care primarily about wellbeing etc, at the end of the day most pick the 'outstanding' school with the great results.

OP are you interested in Infant Schools (YR-Y2) or only in through primaries?

For through primaries, check out www.cheapsideschool.org.uk; if you e.g. look at the staff list, you will see that there is a forest school lead and a forest school assistant, and two 'nurture assistants' - for a single form primary. From what I've heard, they do really prioritize 'wellbeing'. Contrary to the impression the name gives, it is a very expensive area to live though!

I would recommend Evendons Primary School in Wokingham. My dc is there. It does also get good results and is oversubscribed so you'd have to move quite close to it.
