If I had a choice of two offers - Wetherby would be it, hands down.
Or is that a general question?

Disclaimer: DS at GHS and we love it and would recommend it over any school (if targetting 7/8+) especially if you're local.

I suspect this is a GHS vs Wetherby's Kensington rather than Notting Hill. If we are talking Notting Hill then it comes down to distance from home.

We have a lot of friends at both Wetherby's schools. While we feel they're both great we get the impression from Kensington parents that they would rather be at Notting Hill. And generally discuss ways of switching.

Depending on where you live I would choose GHS if close enough to home for local facilities they use: Burton Court, Royal Hospital, Royal Court, etc. These aren't exclusive but being able to walk there from school etc.

In terms of school work it seems very comparable and friends from GHS, Wetherby's etc. can sit together and do their work outside of school without any real difference in curriculum.

Like with any school you will find people that are happy, unhappy and in between in any school.
What specific criteria do you have for a school selection?
There isn’t one school that is objectively better for all. It’s all down to your specific child and family circumstances.

Which Wetherby?

No experience GHS, but DS has some friends from whetherby pre-prep (NH). Very well behaved and intelligent boys. If I had the choice, Wetherby would be the one.
