Hello mums and dads, we have 7+ offers from both the schools. Would be great to get your opinions regarding either.
Many thanks!

Oh God, I can't say this enough times on here. They are both great schools that feed into great schools. Which do you live closest to? Honestly, they are nowhere near each other. Make your life and your child's so much more pleasant by choosing the one with the easier commute, which they will presumably be doing until they are 18, rather than seeking out tiny perceived differences from strangers on the internet.

Ditto! And don't say they're the same distance from your home (unless you actually live in Kensal Green in which case you may have a point). Also don't think about how to get there by car because from y7 or even y6, your child should go by public transport on their own.

UCS has a stronger inclination to let in siblings, I think, if you've a younger son. A whole load of siblings I know have just failed to get 11+ interviews at LU so I think they genuinely don't have any sort of policy. Maybe the prep is different.

Other than that, one's co-ed, one's single sex. They're both academic but with a broader mix than say, Westminster or St Pauls Girls.

I know lots of siblings who haven't got in to Latymer Prep, there is definitely no siblings policy.

And yes, to Kensal Green being the only geographical area from which is allowed to ask this question.

OP, we were in similar situation a couple of years back. We went for UCS mainly because it a boys school. Haven't regretted our decision for a minute .... it is a lovely school and we are very happy there.
PM me if you want any specific information.
Both the schools are amazing, you won't go wrong either way. Good luck.

sevenplusmum any advice on the Latymer Prep interview process? My son has an interview next week for the 8+ occasional place.
