Appeal help

We are appealing for a school place for our child.

There is a bit of an unusual set of circumstances (which is therefore outing) and as there is both an appeal and a complaint pending I can't post publicly about it.

However, we need a couple of specific questions answered by someone independent of the admissions authority.

Is anyone aware of where we would go to get this advice? Do we use an education lawyer (which seems overkill) or is there another option? We obviously don't mind paying for it, but we need a service that we can access quickly.

I am also quite happy to help via PM if you need a second opinion, though I am sure that PRH will be able to advise.

You two, and Patricia and I've forgotten the other poster - you're pretty wonderful you know. (You helped me many moons ago with an academy school thorny issue under a different name)

Aha! I'm also happy to help though am unlikely to be able to add anything that the previous offers won't!

Thank you all for your offers of help, it really is very kind. I have been in touch with PRH and have now been on the receiving end of some helpful answers and advice!

I very much appreciate you all being prepared to give up your time to help, thank you.
