Hi everyone
We are considering moving and I am trying to get as much information on schools as possible. Doing lots of visits but always great hearing first hand experience or what the general view is of the school.
I will have 2 boys who are going into prep - one currently in key stage 2 and another boy in nursery.
My older son is very sporty, easy going, a little bit shy until he knows people, sits in the middle academically.
My youngest is also very active and easy going. Obviously have no idea about his academic level!
We are thinking about Cobham/Esher area but are open to other places - need to be able to walk to the high street though and my husband will be commuting.
Schools we are currently wanting to look at:
Danes Hill, Parkside, Cranmore, Downsend, feltonfleet.
Any help would be appreciated!
Thank you

Yura - I appreciate that. Are they prep or state schools? We are looking at preps.

All the prep schools you have listed are good.
Your decision process should probably be driven by your son in KS2 and his secondary school options, he will take the entrance exams in Jan of Year 6 regardless of whether he moves at 11 or 13. You should consider Reeds, St Johns Leatherhead, St. George's Weybridge, Epsom College & then work back to location for Prep school.
(If you are considering boarding school options this will be different).

Also consider house prices, commute, school run etc.
Perhaps also look at Claygate/Milbourne Lodge Prep if you want a busy high street / village feel.
There is lots of choice in Surrey but all schools - state or private are regarded as good.

Both are preps - my son goes to one, good friends have children in the other.

I would add St George's Weybridge Prep to your list to give you that through school option. Alternative is Claremont Fan for Prep & Secondary in Esher but not comparable to the Preps you have listed.

Sunshine. That’s a definitely a good idea, so thank you for that.
Yura and Enko - thank you for the suggestions. I will take a look!
Does anyone know anyone who have children at any of the schools?
