stamptastic (on clothes, not on label) - name stickers and labels fall off/are peeled of, so are pretty useless

I like stamptastic but also like stikins

We get this: www.easy2name.com/starter-pack/sticky-starter-pack.html

Our youngest is now wearing the uniform belonging to her oldest brother and his name labels are still on 6 years and lots of washing later! Sometimes the labels on bottles come off after a year of going through the dishwasher daily, but I figured that was still good.

Oh, meant to say that we did have a stamp. It I found it faded quite quickly and we had to restamp several times a year so preferred the stickers.

I think you can't beat the kind that you sew onto uniform. They're a pain to sew on, but never fade or fall off.

I used them for dd when she was young and as a primary school teacher I've found that the only lost jumpers that I can guarantee to reunite with their owners are the ones with sewn on labels.

Guesd it depends why stuff goes missing. genuinely lost:sew in labels. Stolen: stamps or biro, and loads of them are a lot harder to cover then having to peel off a sticker or two.

I would recommend Stickins.

Both Mynametags and stikins - found they didn't fade or come off in the wash and were easy to peel off when passing on clothes for uniform sales or to others

Stikins are great. Saw twins through three years of nursery and just restocked on more for school. All coats, hats, gloves etc all survived and stickers are all going strong. I have to apologise when I pass on clothes because I cannot take them off!

I use stamptastic and thoroughly recommend. The same ink pad is on its 4th year. I've been using it since DS started nursery at 1yr old. I stamp clothes in multiple places as well as on wash care labels, which is where school look for names first.
