We have moved to Debdon, Loughton. We wish to change our sons school as his current school is a bit of a mission.
Thomas Willingale Primary is the only school with a place currently. I heard about 6 years ago it needed improvement but in 2013 it was upgraded to good rated by Ofsted. Last inspection was also good. Does anyone have children here or know anything about it? Thanks Kelly

I used to teach there. It’s not a school I would send my child to. Poor demographic intake, behaviour issues and a lack lustre SLT - especially the EYFS leader and the senco - both useless!!

Oh dear. That doesn't sound good at all! one mother I spoke to, also a teacher said it's amazing but another said in the early days her daughter was there, wasn't good at all. She said it's improved now though. I'm reluctant to take a gamble!

Have you visited the school?

I did visit it and it seems lovely. But I know visiting a school doesn't always give as accurate a picture as parents of children there or locally can
