Any thoughts about Marden Lodge Primary school? We are looking at doing an in year transfer from a fee paying school. Not many options open to us. Marden Lodge hopefully has a space.

The one in Caterham? We didn't like it when we looked round a few months ago. It just didn't have a nice friendly feeling.

I looked around (with zero intention of putting it down but it was one of my closest schools) and liked it more than I expected to. Although I think half was down to the fact it's set up for have 60 kids per year but it's not even half full. Says a lot....

But I've never heard anything good about it, or the parents/kids and their behaviour outside in the morning etc.

I filled all 4 of my spaces to give my child the best chance of not getting ML. Thankfully we got first choice and couldn't be happier.

But I'm sure there are people with kids at ML who think it's great - maybe ask on Caterham Mums facebook?
