This has probably been done to death but I have a few questions.

I am in Lincolnshire. I am aware there are different types of 11+. How do I find out which one?

Practice papers: where do I get them from? Which do I need? I looked on amazon and there were so many different types.

I asked school these questions and got shot down massively. They do zero preparation for the 11+ in school and couldn't advise me either way.

My DD is in y5 so will be sitting the 11+ in Sept so will probably do some practice over the summer holidays. I don't want to do anything too extravagant just something to get her used to being timed and so she knows the set up.

Any advice is really appreciated. I was so disappointed with the school's lack of help.

I think you will need to ask the school which you are taking the test for. Usually the details will be on their website along with what sort of practice material to use. Unless you are in a full 11+ area I don't think School are helpful at all. In fact I think in some areas they are not allowed to help.
Good luck

Hi OP,
I've just googled Lincolnshire grammar schools and have found a website (looks official). In the 11+ section there are ISBNs of recommended practice books - link below.

OP, they say on that website from @GU24Mum that children need to take a Verbal Reasoning Test and a Non-Verbal Reasoning Test and that the exam board is GL Assessment. That's all you need to know and note that it's not CEM, it's GL Assessment. It's also multiple-choice.

CGP did some example papers that fit within this criteria - see here

I've tutored a number of kids through what you're doing and I'd recommend the CGP books, Schofield and Sims and some of the Bond ones (though some are very old). These would be good papers to buy...
