Working memory & Jungle memory

7 year old DD has been assessed by an EP and her working memory is borderline. EP has made some recommendations for the school and also recommended jungle memory. She also has some speech impairment and is having speech therapy at school. Processing speed is average but language processing is low average.

Can working memory be improved? or is she likely to keep struggling through her school/life? She has made progress since started school but has always been a bit behind. What else can I do to help her.

Has anybody tried jungle memory? I am happy to invest the money if it works.

There's evidence that working memory training (not jungle memory specifically) can have short term impact on working memory for test but not long term according to the British Psychological Society.
