Pencil grip recommendations please

I need to get some pencil grips for DD (9) to help her get the right position for her fingers. A quick search on Amazon has thrown up lots of different shapes and sizes and I'm unsure what is the right one - can anyone link some good ones please - preferably on Amazon prime so I can get them for school on Tuesday. TIA

It really depends on the problem.
I buy these for school as it's trial and error to find which suits.

Thanks for the reply - she basically 'pinches' the pencil right at the point which results in cramp and dirty fingers. She has a tutor who has been helping her with some confidence building and they identified her pencil hold as holding her back from the coveted 'pen license'. I'll check those out.

We tried several. Those were good but you could also try an elastic band wound around several times.

I bought dd 11 twist n write off amazon. I've tried everything and these were the first thing that she would happily use and they have worked wonders for her grip. I now have a stock of them at school for my students to try if they are struggling with their pencil grip

What is a pen license? My daughter has an unusual grip. We tried grips when she was learning to write. Once she hit 6 we were advised to stop trying. She has found the grip that suits her. Her writing is fine. Whilst the dynamic tripod grip gives optimum control to most, not using isn't wrong its just different. It will be extremely hard for her to relearn now. What is the perceived benefit?

If she's any good, your SENCo ought to be able to advise on this.

Writing on a slight slope e.g. by putting paper on an A4 ring binder can help with some writing problems.

As PP said - trial and error is often the key to finding the correct pencil grip.
