Advice Year 3

My daughter is set Maths (online) spellings which are way to hard for most of the class and a piece of English homework.

There are lots of changes going on at this school, and there really is no point of contact, the Acting Head will just tell me to wait until the next homework meeting, to express my concerns.

My concern is Maths - the teacher has admitted that the homework is set without the teachers knowing what it being sent and also they do not even look at the answers.

I am thinking of my daughter getting some books or going online to get some worksheets that is right for her age.

Any advice appreciated please thanks

My ds's school use Mathletics as well. There should be core questions, easy question and harder question you can choose from. The questions is meant to be set for year group, so shouldn't be too hard.

Way too hard for whole class doesn't make sense, unless your whole class is way behind expected level or teacher has assigned work for wrong year group.

Or are you doing LV3 of live mathletics? If so, I don't think level correspond to the year group. It's more to do with fast mental maths, rather than curriculum based work.
