Hi

I subscribed to maths factor and DD seems to like it but was wondering whether there are better and cheaper programs she could use instead. I am not sure if Maths Factor covers all the national curriculum. I noticed there is nothing for time, shapes, etc. and it seems very repetitive.

Thank you

I'm not sure about age, but Doodle Maths & Doodle Tables might be worth a look?

We use ixl, but it is repetitive as well.

School subscribe to mathletcs, but it's repetitive too.

This is American, but it's free and worth having a look. khanacademy

One you can try for free is sumdog - DC's school subscribe, but you can access a lot for free. Multi choice games with the limitations that brings, but they're well set up and they calibrate to the child's level automatically. DC seem to learn from it.

This site was introduced by someone on MN and I think it's great.

Also there's this site introduce lots of differnt sites.

You can pick the topic your dc is doing at school from different sites to reinforce understanding, and these are more like a game so it's fun for kids.
