Moving to Pathead , Scotland and want good catholic primary school

I am moving to Edinburgh and we look to be renting in Pathead. I have researched the local catholic primary school in the catchment , which is St Davids, the inspection report looks ok. Just a bit worried as don't know the area very well, and there can be good schools in terrible areas. ( I should kno , I currently teach in one). After googling Delkeith, it doesn't seem to be well liked. This is a worry , when the school I am looking at is there! Any opinions on Pathead, Delkeith or St. David's ? Feedback much appreciated.

The inspection report looks OK but it's 5 years old now and things change quickly. 5 years ago I worked in a good school but now....well not so great! What makes you think it's not well regarded?

Thanks for your reply. I know what u mean. It's not that to be honest, just looking for a bit of confidence from people who know the local catholic schools and area. It's hard when u don't know anything about an area and need to decide on your child's education.
