Hello,

We have just moved into the Orpington area and are looking for private primary school for my DD.
I have looked online and found good reviews for the St Olaves Prep, Braeside Prep, West Lodge, Russell House or St Michaels Otford and these are similar distance drive from our home.

Does anyone have any experience of any of these schools. I have booked an appointment to visit St olaves, Braeside and west lodge.

Any advice appreciated.

Thanks

My son is at St Olave's Prep. Recommended. Small, friendly. They will get the best out of your child, whatever their abilities.

What are you looking for? Co-ed? Academic? Future hopes for a grammar? DD was private for primary and I had friends with DDs in other private primaries as well as state. They all offer very different things. Some of the state schools may be better even if you have to stay on a wait list for a while.

Thanks for the responses. Ideally I would like to go for a co-ed school, but if there is a good girls school wouldn't mind considering. Would like something academic also as we have future hope of a Grammar.

Kelly, I haven't looked at any schools yet. I have scheduled appointments this week and next week, so hopefully will be able to give you more information.

Adiach,

I hope you manage to find the right school for your DD.

I'd love to hear what your thoughts were.
