Just found lice in my daughters hair this morning, do I keep her off school so I can treat it straight away, googled it and some sites said no need to stay off school!

call school and ask?

My DD1s school preferred that they were late because you'd kept them at home to treat than sent them in with lice.

Tell the school she has live and treat her over the weekend.

They should inform the whole class that there is lice without naming you.

You'll be the only parent probably informing them. Whomever she caught them from didn't bother!!

We've had them constantly since Jan, since DD changed desks. Prior to that she had never had them in 5 years.
Oh and check your hair too. Wink

Tie her hair back but send her in; you will already have sent her in with them over the passed few days. I find combing with a nitty gritty comb (religiously every other night for two weeks) works better than treatments.
