Bishops Stortford College experience and local property

Dear ladies, I would be extremely grateful for some advice on BSC and local property. We are moving from north London to bishops stortford and after a very extensive reseach on independent schools taking into account of entry points, boarding flexibility and exam results, BSC is not the top one but fit all our criteria well. I was wondering if anyone has children in the school? We are preparing for entry at 7 years around 2018. Or is there anyone has babies in BSC pre prep school? It would be really helpful to hear your expeience. And it would be even greater if you would like to meet in one of the high street coffee? Many thanks and I am looking forward to hearing from you.

Well you'll certainly have lots of choice of coffee shops!!
I live in BS although mine do not go to the college (their results aren't fantastic considering the prices) and the local secondary schools which are excellent are getting equal GCSE results. Facilities and grounds at SC are wonderful though. Haven't heard brilliant thinkgs about the pre-pre. The word on the local grapevine seems to be that St Edmunds is better.

The local primary schools are excellent too - some have very small admission distances though - need to be within 500m.
