My year 6 daughter is doing well at school, but freaks out when it is "exam time". She finds it difficult to recall facts under pressure and is bad a checking her work and reading the answers properly in the first place! I know that previous SATs papers are available online, but this year the exams will be different. We'd like her to do well so that she can access the higher sets available at the local secondary school. I have checked with the school and they base entry into maths and english higher sets on SATs scores (in the first instance).
Does anyone know a tutor in the Kingston upon Thames area who could help practise exam skills?
