Can anyone explain what the Sp CAT score actually means?

I think it doesn't matter what it means.

I thought the way it worked was you had to listen to your current school because they're giving a reference.

I have a child in year 6 and another in year 7 and have absolutely no idea what you are taking about!
I don't even mean that nastily. Just my children have never done any cat testing - just their normal sats. My Ds just started grammar school and they haven't used car tests there either

So.. In short. I don't think they can be that important smile

If you Google spatial cat tests there is some information. Basically Spatial is another method of reasoning, but more specific to STEM subjects.

I think you're placing far too much importance on the tests. They can tell you whether it's a good idea to try for a very selective school. They can indicate SpLD. But they can't indicate a lot else.
