My y5 daughter has been invited to attend a masterclass during school hours for six sessions over the next few months. The masterclass is open to a maximum of three children in yr5 and is held at another local school around 15 minutes away. All well and good.
Unfortunately, we've been asked to provide our own transport. Which would mean taking at least an hour out of my working day on six different occasions. Is it reasonable of the school to expect this? Or would it be unreasonable of me to refuse the opportunity because I simply cannot take the time out to ferry her around the countryside?
