2c at the end of year 1 is it ok

have no point of reference. is 2c in english math etc good? is level 8 in reading ok? THANKS

Yes, above "expected" - if being taught the old curriculum, rather than the current one and if levels actually existed now!

We've been teaching from the new curriculum this year, but also had to use the old curriculum as we have had to assess children each term using APPs and have had to give children a NC level. (can't wait for next year when we're only doing one thing).

The senior team at my school have decided that 1a/2c should be the expected end of year level for Year 1.
