German KS2 Resources.

Hello, am trying to find some resources for KS2 German to follow the topics that include the study of as well as activities.
I have tried everywhere and one doesn't seem to exist.
I am tumbling over spanish and French, but alas no German.

I was wondering what text books are used at schools? As its for a complete beginner it needs to provide explanation as well as activities.

Not sure if anyone could help? Please.

I haven't heard of anyone doing German in primary school. DD does French and Spanish outside school.

I teach German at a primary school. For Y3 + 4 I use

It's just a bit of self exploration for her as she will start at her new school in September where many did German at primary.
I'm no Linguistic but dh and ds2 did GCSE and are helping a bit.

You could ask her new (secondary?) school which text book they use and purchase it for her. A lot of schools use this one:

Ah, that's interesting, many thanks.
We know the language teacher personally, but rarely see her to ask.
I suppose I could contact the school, but want to make it appear she has been doing it all the time.
Long story but dd has been h.ed and had a language tutor for Italian and French. The tutor doesn't do German, so we were going to just cover the same topics as she did in French and Italian that look the same for KS2.
Hopefully by september she will have done the basics like the other languages iyswim.
As usual it depends on what can be taken at GCSE even when just starting y7.

If she's 11, she might manage //www.duolingo.com with a bit of help and supervision.

She'll need something else to help with speaking and conversation, but it might help with the vocab and grammar a bit. You'll need to figure out how happy you are with her accessing the discussion forums though.
