Hi, do primary schools in Wales teach the same curriculum as schools in England? Apart from teaching the Welsh language, does anyone know if there are any other differences? Thanks

Huge difference.
Different curriculum since 2008.
And the LNF is a big thing too.
This is a literacy and numeracy framework brought in to raise standards that was brought in a year or so ago. It is to be merged into the curriculum at some point I believe and consultation documents are being looked at.
There used to be no testing, only teacher assessment but since the LNF was introduced there is testing for years 2 to 9 in reading, numeracy (procedural) and numerical reasoning. This is reported to parents in terms of score, standardised score and improvement since the previous year.
