St Albans Infant / Primary School Recommendations

Would anyone be able to recommend a good Infant / Primary school for my daughter to start in reception year in the St. Albans area.

Somewhere in close proximity to Nicholas Breakspear School would be good.

I would be interested in your thoughts on state and independent schools.

Many thanks in advance for your comments!

So, you didn't get any replies to your first and second identical OP, but your third and fourth idendical threads did get one reply each which were useful. Why start a fifth identical thread? Why not bump one of the existing threads with a thank you to the people who replied? Or perhaps post this on a local thread where it might get local people seeing it?

Thanks Alfie for the tip.

This is my first posting and I am very new at this and seem to be having some issues with my laptop..or it is probably just me!

As a newbie I ask for some patience whilst I learn the ropes ;-)

Thanks all!

Sorry that was a bit harsh and grumpy of me wasn't it. I hope you find the answers you need.

Are you thinking about sending your child to Nicholas Breakspear as a secondary school? This is a great school and has rapid improvement over the last few years. Ss Albans and Stephen is also a good school with a new headteacher who is making positive changes. My son is in the junior school and loves going each day. But I know it is subscribed. Have you considered St John Fisher?
