Audit Office wants parents' views on school performance

The National Audit Office wants to hear parents' views about "how school oversight and intervention systems impact on parents and pupils".

Parents can access the survey below. It takes about 15-20 mins to complete. The consultation finishes on on 20 April 2014.

The NAO won't be able to identify parents who complete the survey but the results will be summarised in its report for Parliament.

It's a chance for you to say what you think.

Thanks for that link OP, it only took me 5 minutes though and 2 minutes of that was trying to make sense of the last question Grin

Are you from the nao OP?

No. I'm not from the NAO. I'm an educational researcher and blogger. I couldn't access the survey because if you answer NO to the question about having school age children you can't go any further.

I thought it would be a chance for parents to have their say. But they can't have a say if they don't know about the survey.

How on earth could that little survey take 15 min?
Also it asks if you or your partner are involved in the governors, the pta or neither. No option for both. Between us we are involved in both.

Thanks for the link - didn't take long to complete and I think the resulting information will be really useful.
