What is scrimble?

My friend's little boy was telling me he liked doing scrimble at school but didn't tell me what it is

My friend doesn't know either

So what on earth is scrimble? (He's in reception btw)

erm could be anything. according to google there is a game called scrimble, something to do with letters falling down the screen and they have to make words with them but it could easily just be a game they play, or he could have got the name wrong?

Scrimbling is also the name of part of "write dance".

It's a motor skills activity with upper body strength focus. There's a song CD and music.

No it's been around for years, scrimble is making large marks on sensory materials to music - there is a story and specific movements linked to different pieces of music.
