Moving area!! What will happen?

We have just been offered a bigger property in the over side of our town. About a fifteen minute drive away. We will be moving in about three weeks. We applied for primary schools in our current area. Do I ring council? Will they be able to change the schools we put down or is it too late? We get the schools places on 16th April.
Sorry if this makes no sense, I'm typing on my phone.

As far as I know your offers are made as of the date of the deadline closing in January as that is when they verify the addresses within the school catchment area from... but do you want to change the school preferences? If so, then call them, as you could use your new address as a new catchment area, assuming there are places for your chosen school.

Check out your local schools admissions site, they should have a process for this. Where I live you'd be treated as a late applicant I think, you could put in applications once you're in the new address and would go on waiting lists if there were no free places after the first round of offers.
