Moving area!! What will happen?

We have just been offered a bigger property in the over side of our town. About a fifteen minute drive away. We will be moving in about three weeks. We applied for primary schools in our current area. Do I ring council? Will they be able to change the schools we put down or is it too late? We get the schools places on 16th April.
Sorry if this makes no sense, I'm typing on my phone.

Ask your LA whether it is too late to change your preferences. It is up to them. But for most LAs it will be too late. You can still apply for schools near your new address but you will be treated as a late applicant. It may be better to let them allocate a school based on your current address and then go on the waiting lists for schools near your new home.

Accept the place you get allocated then join the wait lists for closer schools if you want to
