What happens when a child protection issue at school is not taken further/closed.

I think after a certain length of time (sorry - can't remember how long) it is not relevant.

The cause fir concern is noted and the outcome documented and kept in a locked file. When a child moves school, their files follow them to their next school. Inactive files are usually never opened unless a new concern is brought foward by the new school. Old files should never just be destroyed until several years after a child leaves school if at all.

However, with that being said, i can't see how that cause for concern would be a problem.
