Tutors 11+ in harrow / Pinner / Northwood area

Hi , now that a lot of you have gone through the eleven plus stress can I pick your brain ? For those of you who used tutors is there any chance you could let me know who you used ( obviously if they were good ). When did you start tuition ? Did you have a one to one tutor or did you send your child to a tuition centre ? We live in Pinner so wanted something around our area . Many thanks

If still you are looking for one...then i m really happy to recommend my DD's tutor. My girl has started very low profile and never been encouraged at school...but with the help of her tutor, she developed so well...she got into WGGS but also in Habs, NLCS and St Helen's.
Highly recommended...knows her job really well (bit strict though).
I m happy to forward her number...if u wish so.
I am returning to the same lady for yr 10 for my girl.

Hello Mums! I just moved to eastcote and want to know how to apply to schools in the harrow borough as I'm on the Hillingdon side of pinner HA5.
its late i know but we just moved here.my daughter is finishing yr 3.on a website it shows that coteford infant school is near by and cannon lane and others.could i apply for cannonlane, westlodge? and which are other real good primaries?is coteford junior school really good?i really want a very good school for her . She is 8. Will be in yr 4 in September. What's the waiting time like? Can i reject a school they give if i dont want it and wait for her turn to come if I'm put on a waiting list? And hence i would want an 11+ tutor or even yr 4-6 tutor

Kirin I just moved away from Eastcote (nothing to do with the schools!) and know the area well. Coteford is meant to be great (it is a Hillingdon, not Harrow school.) best Lodge and Cannon Lane also great. It doesn't matter which borough you live in; if they have room in DDs year she will be offered a place. If not you can go on waiting lists for as many as you like but if you turn down the school place offered in the meantime you may not get another if you are not clear that you want to stay on waiting lists, so check what happens if you want to home ed or go private in the meantime. Hi I was wondering what is the cost per hour or per session with a tutor? And how many days of tutoring is recommended? I just joined MN. Does anyone mind passing me the details of a very good 11 plus tutor around Watford/Northwood/Capenders park, Harrow/Pinner areas? One who is experienced with entrance exams to Independent schools (Benenden, CLC, Downe House, St Catherine's).
