One more day to go and we still can't make up our minds... The distance is comparable, results as well.
Does anyone have any thoughts/comments?

Unless you can donate a new science lab, without a doubt. Ken prep.

Ken Prep all the way. Facilities so much better and headmistress at KP has much better track record and vision.

Ken Prep. GDST so good links with popular senior schools. It is not unusual for pupils to switch from G to KP if a late place comes up.

I like the reference to the G science-lab. Part of West London mythology.

KP - better facilities and better results. G does have a cuter uniform though...!! GDST link a good point made above (ie. some senior schools are part of the same group). Friends with girls there are v happy, although I would say that their DDs are quite girly - not much focus on sport. The G girls are more competitive in the pool and on the netball court.

Thanks! Was leaning that way as well.

Just out of curiosity - what is the legend of Science lab at Glendower?

Glendower mum here, to say that so far we have been very pleased that we chose Glendower; I wasn't around for the old head, but the new head has made some good changes, and appears to be very effective, energetic and widely liked. There are some very bright girls who clearly work hard, but I wouldn't describe what we've seen so far as a hothouse, as homework has been ninimal, and the teachers have all been lovely and relaxed.

DD is very happy there, the other girls and parents are nice, I have been impressed with the pastoral side of things, and she seems to be learning well too.

No idea what the science lab story is, however...
