Hi
Ds has been off school with a tummy bug so has only done one day of stats. Is this going to effect him in any way or is it just an aid to help the teachers get the levels right?

Assuming you told the school, did they arranged for him to sit them late (they are allowed to sit them up to a week later than everyone else now)?

School havent said a thing they are doing them this week and next is half term. So does that mean he could do them after half term?

Oh sorry - I misread your title as being KS2 (i.e. year 6) SATS.
In Year 6 the dates are set by the Government but an ill child can still take them a week later.
In Year 2, the tests can be done any time over the next few weeks but the teacher assessment is the main thing so yes he can still do them.
