Hi

Me and my husband are looking to move into the Ealing area from North London; I am 5 months pregnant and we are looking to move to an area with good schools.

We've seen a lovely place on St George's Ave which is just outside the Little Ealing catchment area but is in the Grange Primary catchment. Can anyone tell me what this school like? Do your children go there/like it/any problems??

I see from the last Ofsted that it gets a Good rating however is under the national average for Maths and English. Obviously given our son/daughter has not even been born yet it will be a few years before it will be attending school and I'm sure much can change in this time, but I wanted to find out some opinions on this school and those in the area as once we move we are likely to have to stay there for a good 5-10 years.

Any info much appreciated!

It's a mixed catchment which may account for the results, but I haven't heard anything bad about the school. If you are C of E there is also Christ The Saviour school as an option. They have infants and juniors on a split site and are currently Ofsted outstanding.
