I'm thinking of having my 9 year old home tutored. This is to help him get into a better secondary school. I've read previous posts on tutoring and have thought about the pros and cons. I just don't know how you go about finding a good one. We live in SW London. Word of mouth is probably not going to work as I am not a very proactive schoolgates mum.
