We've got dd1's appeal tomorrow morning and I'm feeling horribly nervous. This is the 2nd time we've appealed for the same school and the same reason (bullying) although this has escalated since last year. We haven't got medical back up just our own anecdotal evidence and school reports. I am so anxious for her as she is desperate to leave the school. In fact we have told dd that whatever the outcome she will be leaving the school but atm we don't know which school she will be going to. I am so heartbroken for her and every time I think about how she has been feeling it makes me very tearful. I am worried I am going to end up in floods of tears during the appeal and lose any credibility with the panel. Please help me to present the best possible case for her during the meeting.

I dont have any advice just wanted to wish you good luck. We moved our dd due to bullying and it was so the right thing to do.

What year is she? What is different about your case that last time. Why is THIS the only school (remember you are appealing FOR a particularl scholl, not against one you already have).

Do you have a plan b?

Plan b is to move her anyway but it would have to be to any school with a place for her which is likely to be in the next town.

Don't want to go into issues here as have already posted before about them.

Just scared the system will let her down again and how this will make her feel.

OMG - we won!!!!!!!!!! Am so very pleased for dd. This is the best thing that could have happened for her. I was a bundle of nerves on the day and ended up blubbing as I suspected I would. Oh well, it obviously didn't harm our case.

What a Christmas present for all of us gringrin

Thanks wrinklybottom. We are over the moon here. There were tears and laughter when we received the letter this afternoon.

Can she start right away or does she have to wait until after Christmas?
