Forest Hill Primaries - Kilmorie or Kelvin Grove?

OK - I know Kelvin Grove is actually Sydenham, but going by last year's admissions, these are the two schools within (a fairly long) walking distance that we would actually be close enough to get a place. Our three actual closest (within 450 metres) we would still have been too far away from, so I feel our options are limited!

DD starting next September, so currently trying to do the research by visits, Ofsted etc, but would really appreciate views from parents with children at Kilmorie or Kelvin Grove schools to see what they think. there is very little I can find online about Kelvin Grove which worries me slightly - all the really good schools in the area seem to have reams written about them!

Thanks in advance

Hi
Not at either (my dd is at Dalmain) but have lots of friends happy at Kilmorie (which is expanding and just had a good Ofsted report). I'll try and point someone in the direction of this thread. Don't know anyone at Kelvin Grove - sorry.

Thanks sleeping - we are pretty close to Dalmain but about 20 metres out last year. Are you happy with it? I've heard pod things, and it's small which I like.

Oh, I wondered if pod = odd! I'll send you a private message, but yes, we're really really happy with it!
