Just moved - know nothing about local school but nearest primary is oversubscribed and I have a 4-year-old. Anyone know what the school at Smallfield-Burstow is like? Ofsetd is good but it's undersubscribed. Ditto Charlwood village. And the Kingswood website is a bit off putting and it's only got a satisfactory Ofsted. Any help gratefully received.

Hi! I've got to put in a late application for my son (have decided to give up full time work so consequently can't afford fees for independent sch place!) and I've been looking at Burstow too. I know Wray Common is taking a bulge class this year again but I'm just outside last year's furthest distance.

Went to see St Matthew's and it was OK but wasn't overly keen. Off to see Kingswood tomorrow. Not sure Ofsted reports always give the full picture. I'm hoping Kingswood will be ok as it is nearby and Early Years might be better than further up the school.

Was also considering Salfords as it had centrally offered places last year but I can't find anything about Burstow apart from Ofsted and its own website. Two friends who live up this way got their kids into Newdigate but I don't know how! Even though it's far, it sounds amazing!

I'm hoping my form is going to come in the post v soon as being late is totally stressing me out!

Hope you get on ok.
