DD is still sick but refuses to stay home from school?

DD is 10 and has been sick for the past two days, down with a very bad cold. She is still sneezing quite a lot and has a runny nose. She had a fever yesterday but this morning it was gone, so basically she's allowed to go to school tomorrow (if she doesn't have a fever again because of the 24hr fever policy). She is going to play one of the important parts in the school play tomorrow. She's been looking forward to it so much. but she is still sick! I mean, this is not just a mild case of sniffles! She has been begging me to let her to go the play tmr but I don't know if I should let her go. There are reserves for her part but she doesn't want to miss this opportunity. On the other hand, I don't want to expose her to any germs floating around at school or for her to get her classmates sick. Advice?

If she feels up to it, I would let her go.

If it's just a cold and she feels well enough, I would let her go. If she is feverish again in the morning, I would keep her at home though.

Let her go!! Grin life is too short to worry about a cold/flu. The part is obviously incredibly important to her and she won't thank you for keeping her at home when she thinks she is fit and well enough. I would praise her good work ethic and stoic attitude and let her get on with it!
